Rates

Our day rates are based on 24 hour periods (or portion), quoted in Euro’s and are subject to change without notice. Rate includes 21% local tax, unlimited mileage, Vehicle License fee, the insurance cover for the rented vehicle is a third party liability insurance, all insurance premiums (CDW, third party liability, personal accident and theft) for Western Europe with maximum deductable only € 200,00 for group MCMR and € 400,00 for all other groups, full maintenance, green card en our Breakdown Service for Western Europe. Except for your maximum deductable our insurance also covers windows, wheels, (flat)tires, mirrors. Car keys (lost/broken/theft) or filling up the rental car with the wrong fuel is not insured. Our rates with unlimited mileage are only for drivers with permanent residency status outside the Netherlands and Belgium.

Coss for start/end of rental from Schiphol Airport is €61.00 (one time charge regardless of length of rental period).

Driver/renter must be at least 24 years old and hold a valid driver's license for at least one year.

Unless otherwise discussed, payment must be made in advance/at delivery. Any transfer fees or exchange charges are the responsibility of the renter. Payment is in Euros. We accept Master and Visa cards.

All necessary documents for driving within Western Europe are included. For driving in/through Spain or Italy an additional insurance premium of € 50,00 (one time only) is applicable. It is allowed to drive with a BB&L rental car from the Netherlands to Andorra, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Finland, Italy, Ireland, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal, Austria, Spain (except Ceuta and Melilla), United Kingdom, Sweden or Switzerland. Switzerland. For driving in Switzerland or Austria, you must purchase a road tax sticker at their borders. As of 2008, you cannot reach some city centers in Germany by car without a specially purchased environmental sticker (Umweltplakette). You can purchase this sticker, on which the registration number of the car must be indicated, yourself at the larger gas stations in Germany. In winter conditions, you are obliged to drive with All Weather tires in some countries (e.g. Germany, Austria). In general, please inform yourself in time about the local regulations in the countries you will visit during the car rental.

BB&L reserves the right to provide an equivalent car within the category. All cars have power steering, airbags, ABS, air conditioning and a GPS for Western Europe. No cars available with towbar or roofrack. We only rent non-smoking cars.

The rental agreement is governed by Dutch law, unless under mandatory law the law of another country applies. law of another country applies.
